The owner, Yvonne, is by far the best host I've had at any accomodation. Very friendly but also respectful of privacy. The breakfast was absolutely incredible and all made to order with lots of homemade breads and recipes. Made us feel very special. The location is very conveniently located and there is a lake directly across the street that is part of the property where you can sit and relax or take the kayaks out! A minute up the road is the beach for swimming and there's so many activities and restaurants nearby. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! HIGHLY recommend!

We stayed here for a nearby wedding, and wish we could have extended our stay! Yvonne is so pleasant, warm, and welcoming - and she makes a delicious breakfast. The room was cozy, and there's an awesome trail just behind the house. We had access to a little bit of lakefront across the road with a gazebo and kayaks, although we didn't have the time to enjoy them. What's also cool is that you're far enough away from a major town that light pollution isn't an issue - went by the gazebo at night and stargazed. We could see hints of the Milky Way and saw a couple of shooting stars.

The entire manor is very classy and elegant. Yvonne’s service was absolutely amazing. Breakfast was made to order, and coffee was left outside of the room at the time we requested. Breakfast even included an assortment of homemade breads that were delicious! There are kayaks and docks as a part of the property and hiking trails behind the manor also. Mornings spent relaxing on the porch are great too. It’s even dog friendly! Highly recommend and will be staying here again.
